The service

Speaker Ready lets organisations prepare events online, collect and check speaker presentations, and run the event with the desktop app. Vision AV provides the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for the people you invite and for keeping passwords and sync codes private. Speaker links give access to one speaker’s session; share them only with that speaker.

Your content

Everything you and your speakers upload remains yours. We only use it to provide the service. You confirm you are allowed to upload it.

Licences and payment

An event licence is valid for one event. A subscription licenses all events while it is active and renews automatically until cancelled; it stays active until the end of the paid period. Prices are excluding VAT unless stated otherwise.

Availability

We aim for high availability of the online service but cannot guarantee it. Because the show itself runs locally in the desktop app, download your event before the show day.

Liability

Our liability is limited. Our total liability for any damage arising from or related to the service, on whatever legal ground, is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage. We are never liable for indirect or consequential damage, including lost profit, lost revenue, missed savings, loss or corruption of data or files, damage due to the cancellation or disruption of an event, and claims of third parties. Damage must be reported to us in writing within 30 days after you discovered it, or it lapses. These limitations do not apply where the damage is caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent Dutch cantonal judge (kantonrechter) of the District Court of Oost-Brabant; where the cantonal judge is not competent by law, to the District Court of Oost-Brabant.
